Severe lack of balance once again ruining the game
" So it's stupid because it's just a good chase item which a good and universal use case? If anything that's peek design of what a chase item should look like, something every build could use if they want to. "Is stuipd" reads more like some high level of fomo than anything else. " One use case? You could throw the extra effect on many unique utility flasks to gain more benefits out of them for whenever you use them, such as during boss fights. " Of course players will continue to aim for powerful chase items. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

"Nay. I, for one, don't like pressing too many buttons. That doesn't make me unskilled, lazy, complacent or whatever other descriptor you are trying to pluck from your vocabulary. - Unknown philosopher, ca. 2025

" Care to explain how my logic is wrong? Ofc not you are the ultimate toxic troll of feedback and discussion |

EE and MB are both fine and balanced through their rarity.
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

IMO making an item T0 doesnt affect its balance

"There's no distinctive logic in your post. It reads like fomo. Both EE and MB are balanced through their rarity. They're called chase uniques. Side note for you, while powerful, they're not breaking the game on their own. I, for one, don't like pressing too many buttons. That doesn't make me unskilled, lazy, complacent or whatever other descriptor you are trying to pluck from your vocabulary. - Unknown philosopher, ca. 2025

" I already explained how your logic is wrong, all you have to do now is to accept that. You shouldn't call others toxic trolls after resorting to personal attacks the moment you run out of arguments. It's like throwing stones while sitting in a glass house. |

" i find it amazing that you can use 'fomo' in every post and use it as an argument! regarding your definition of good chase unique - in my opinion, it is the exact worst example of well designed chase unique it is an item that is unquestionably best in slot, no drawback, no discussion if it was an vendor item available from lvl1 EVERYONE would use it. this, even by GGG words, is a sh.. design the only balancing factor it has is rarity. you numb-farm some content for a week or few days, you buy it. the balancing factor is gone, it is pure power now. here are some more examples of 'well designed' chase items (by your definition): Jewel of Immortality - you cannot die Ring of Millions of Gold - every mob drops 1m gold pile Krangled AOE Support - 1000% more AOE Vergut Projectiles - your skill fire all the projectiles all balanced by rarity, with Div card you can gamble and a handy cheeze Valdo map to print these out (both actually make this situation even worse) Mageblood is not THAT stupid, but it is actually close enough to make a point |
|
" Cause fomo is more than often the problem for some, and I can also see it her being the problem. "I can't have a mageblood so others are not allowed to have such items". Cause if we're talking about balance here mb on it's own won't give you a powerful character. It's just a pwoerful source to min-max even further, but by you already trivialize all content by the time you have one so not like ti matters. EE and the foulborn items are another example, they are not powerful on their own, but powerful if you combine them with well optimized gear, and if a player gets to the stage it's just well deserved power. You're just sour that you don't get the same power for free. " By definition it's a good design since it's universal and can be used for almost every build, or you could simply skip and still be fine. A bad chase unique be an item that has little to no use case outside of maybe a single niche build. Your drawback is that you have to invest a larger amount currency for the single item, and you could use the same amount of currency to deck out all of your slots, or well if you're interested enough do both. By your logic every "BiS" should be bad and in this case every single item is bad as it could potentially be BiS for one build. " Well deserved power if you put so much dedication into farming one since it's not totally free, else the fomo wouldn't be as heavy. " weird take to compare a powerful item with downright broken ideas, but it's not remotely close how I defined it, so try harder. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun. yea bro thinks fomo is a valid argument in any and all situations lol
I have been farming a ton since league start, if i really wanted mageblood I could have one or two by this point but I want to improve at this game instead of being carried by shit that will just inevitably get nerfed the moment devs finally wake up from their dunken stupor (hopium), this has absolutely nothing to do with fomo. Same reason why I'm not making the latest cheater build int stack accuracy stack jugg that can easily do 100m dps and tank 2.5x uber memory games for absolutely no reason |
