Docks Too Easy , Lunaris Too Hard: Where To?

If you have good armor (I'm assuming Iron Reflexes, but if not then IDK) and capped fire resist, as well as a curse removal/immune flask, you should be good in Lunaris. The most dangerous things there are the tentacle monsters that deal half phys/half fire while you have Vulnerability on you.

you don't need fire

you don't need ice

you need armour and lightning resist

lunaris is full of these.
The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

'll just say catacombs are really bad for melee characters, the cold spell shotgun effect is annoying and slows the killrate too much. I prefer Lunaris as melee.

After trying several runs of this, I concur. You end up frozen too much.

I'm presently leveling up an enduring cry gem, because I think I may need it when I get to higher level maps. So far I've been getting by on multistrike with a quality LGoH, which is just great, but not so much if something comes up where you're not hitting. I may also have to spec into Iron Reflexes.

Catacombs is much better than docks now that it's level 67. I advise taking two things:

1) A flask that will dispel cold effects. Many of the mobs in the catacombs use cold attacks, melee and ranged and often with extra projectiles. Even with 80% cold res, you will get frozen sometimes.

Hmm...my cold resist is up to 82% (i ran purity aura) and I am still frozen on the frequent basis, am I doing it wrong? Cause my friend have the same resist did not get frozen as much as I do. And yeah I have heat flask, drink once to dispel, got froze on the next hit, its freaking annoying.

Its based on your Life. You're less susceptible to status ailments as you gain more life.

Thanks for the info. I guess thats the downside of getting CI.

This is why "immune to freeze" and "immune to stun" are considered BIS items for CI users.

Yeah. I know unwavering stance is a must. But didnt know how status effects are tied in to life. Dream fragments are so expensive.

spend like 10 alchs or something and get 10 maps

If the guy has problems with Lunaris Temple, rare maps are not for him
