What does freeze aoe andy mean

" just a guess but i assume if you have sth that freezes like frostblades or even a wanderer that freezes you have a very easy time with that encounter contrary to rf which basicly has no chance to keep the NPC alive on average. |

It doesn't just work the way you think it does, explodi does not replace screenwide aoe clear with freeze on top it is jsut more comfy in genrell when mapping obv
The thing is if one tries one can finish a hive yes..but it doesnt make sense to ivnest the time if the succes rate is not near 100% it is such a huge time waste jsut because the NPC has less life than palyers in act 1 campaign... Last edited by Strickl3r#3809 on Nov 8, 2025, 9:02:26 AM

" yes, some builds are better at certain mechanics than others. There is no mechanic put in the game to be feasible to farm on any and every build you can think of. It sounds like rf isnt the build for you if you want to farm this mechanic Farming lab isnt that good on a build with ralakesh and a bow. if you do it on a self chill elementalist with mageblood, its much faster. The walls serve a valuable purpose during the defense part of hives. Whatever you keep standing when it's time to defend Ailith now act as obstacles for the monsters. Proper clearing means you can reliably funnel waves into chokepoints for easy kills.
However, that argument also kind of loses its merit when random wall segments get destroyed with every wave, so what's the point? PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |
