Ping spikes to 8000-10000 every 2-4 minutes, consistent for the past 12 hours

Same here. Frankfurt Gateway. League start week has always been a pain but this time it's even worse.

And once again the connection in the Brazil realm started to deteriorate until it will be unplayable in an hour or so. Do we still send the WinMTR results or do we just wait and see?

Also seeing this issue on the washington DC realm, every other game works fine for me except for poe and poe 2

Issue persists, although I noticed something interesting: I managed to play for about 2 minutes without any issues. Went to new area, got an essence, went to town to sell some stuff. Suddenly, just as I could play with 0 lag spikes before, game started to massively lag - spikes every second or so, 150-30ms, sometimes it even climbed to 2-5 seconds. I am clueless to why does it work like that, but that's definitely not on my end.

Even after the supposed fix, this continues to happen. It is unplayable.

The São Paulo server is still blowing up even after the patches. It's incredibly frustrating. This and PoE2 are the only games where this is happening at the moment

First 2 days of the league servers were fine, had 0 problems.
Right now it's unplayable, network spikes up to 10k. Being playing POE for years, first time this happens, something change with POE2 i have tyhe same issue. It doesn't matther if the league it's good if the game is unplayable |

one more update, throughout today it went better (switched gateway from Frankfurt to Milano to see if it helps) and tracked the entries in log for what instance server ips i'll be getting and how it'll behave especially during what i would consider peak hours (~18:00-22:00)
findings: 1) in most cases ping was stable between ~20-40ms 2) except two ip ranges (170.23.140.0/24 and 23.111.5.0/24), both geo-located (not sure how reliably, but w/e) to Netherlands (both 'Servers-com', i assume 3rd party infra provider GGG has contract with) that exhibited performance mr. Lahey would recognize .. pings anywhere between 200-7000ms; checking one of then via WinMTR, the packet loss on the last 3 hops were 30/24/29% respectively, which is wild (of of ~200 icmp requests).. 3) since both of those were from Netherlands and i had Milano gateway selected.. what exactly is the point in selecting the gateway if i'm getting instance servers all over anyway? in order to provide more than a usual 'fix yo sht', let me offer a constructive suggestion: implement an option for players to blacklist certain IP ranges similar to how filters work, or if you want to have it less customizable atleast allow us to set maximum ping that if exceeded, our characters will be disconnected and the instance server put on 'cooldown' for that one player, not accepting new connections for a while so that we can't accidentally flood specific datacenters Last edited by loriccz#7817 on Nov 5, 2025, 8:27:22 PM

I'm getting consistent ping spikes every couple seconds from 30 ms - 300+ms from the DC gateway and it's becoming literally unplayable for me like how am I expected to fight these waves of constant mobs in breaches when my character becomes uncontrollable every couple seconds
