Kinetic Rain Silent Nerfed - Where's the Transparency?

Idk about tradies but in SSF harvest is mandatory for multiple reasons which include influence swap, fossil swap, resistance swap, essence swap, fragments swap basically all swaps are OP, you can even synth slam, reforge chaos and life/def can be very nice as well, I don't know how any player worth his salt claims to play just fine without everything that harvest offers, I'm sorry that you only see value in selling the juice

What's really hilarious is that your post only reinforces what people are saying - that Harvest was pretty much gutted. Harvest was a crafting mechanic. That people do not use for crafting anymore, even in SSF. If that doesn't tell you anything...(and no, swapping cold res for fire res isn't "crafting")

Harvest is nowadays 99% used for swaps and card gamba. In some very corner cases harvest crafting is actually decent. Very, very rarely. I love crafting and I do it a lot, and I can safely tell you out of all the crafting mechanics, I use harvest the least for actual crafting. Which is just plain sad, honestly, because it had huge potential to be useful and interesting without being disgustingly OP.

I don't disagree that original harvest was OP and needed to be nerfed. But just like Kinetic Rain (and so many other things) it was overnerfed to the point where its original purpose was lost. Most of what it's used for now (item swaps) wasn't even part of the early iterations of harvest, GGG only added that later so the mechanic won't be completely useless 90% of the time.

But Harvest is being used for crafting. The fact that Harvest rerolls don't use up Memory Strands is huge, and especially in SSF it's the best way to roll gear with chaos resistance.

It also has ample use with meta mod crafting as you can lock prefixes or suffixes and reroll the other half using Harvest.

So no, you're wrong on all accounts.
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
he is right

main reason people USE harvest is gamba, second one is 'swaps', third is crafting if you can call rerolling and risking filling the item up. in ssf it might be different but i never cared about ssf so there is that.

this is what he wrote and this is how harvest is used nowadays.

and harvest not using up strands (among many other mechanics, that also dont use them) is more an oversight than a feature.

i do not know why this is mentioned in kinetic rain nerrf thread, but hey, here is that

your words are eloquent but isnt too subtle jabbing at most of the playerbase.

you definitely are not wrong. good players will utilize harvest more. but its like pointing at someone who has a zit just for the sake of it and saying you feel sorry for the person for having a zit.

thats just plain asshole behaviour.

crafting means a lot of different things to people apparently. lol

i will agree that harvest IS crafting, but on a scale, it ranks pretty low. i dont consider swapping resists too much of crafting. but it still is crafting on a very minor scale. its on the same level of diablo3's "crafting" where you can reroll a mod. compared to poe's crafting, its really puny. so yeah harvest is still crafting. but the bulk of crafting people use harvest is much lower.

i have NEVER crafted a jewel using harvest nowadays. but back in the day i was crafting jewels like i had jewel diarrhea

Harvest bad at crafting? When combo'd with delve it's literally the best way to craft CI equipment, also Chieftain being able to roll and swap on jewels with +2% max resistance for any element literally saves you thousands of alterations, those are just two examples I personally abused.

I used to be a big nooblet and used to be able to craft mirror tier gear with harvest but the devs decided it's not the way to go, and I agree with them.
I would do it in campaign with a spot i was abusing and was crafting life/es + triple crit multi jewels and more op stuff, that kind of stuff shouldn't be allowed lol

Also harvest was never intended to be used solely for crafting anyway so I don't get how you can say its original purpose was "lost", quit making up weak arguments just because you can't stand anything getting nerfed, please try to understand they aren't doing it to punish you its for the greater good of the game.

I assumed they were making updates but not posting them since usually there are updates daily and there has only been 1 update. I figured they would be posted later in a longer list instead.

Last patch notes update for 3.27 was 4 days ago, and featured a single change.

We are overdue for change update, and they dont seem to have a problem adding a small number of updates at a time.

Yes like i said.

They is no amount of updating they're required to do. For all we know they could post 75 updates in 1 day. They're not bound by some agreement to do it every day.

Oh, nevermind. I recognize you. The HCSSF guy who wants the game balanced around his niche. Enjoy.
