with new patch and drop in AR with IR...do you consider it would be good to get 2 extra endurance charges for extra armor(+0.2 hp/sec on charge node)

" It is never a bad idea to get endurance charges, but in this case it is not really necessary. I know some people on this thread have been experiencing some issues with armor, but I have none whatsoever. With the patch, after making some changes, I only lost about 700 armor. Now, lets be real here... armor helps with 1 type of damage... physical. Block helps with all types other than degens, hp helps with EVERY type of damage. This is why I tend to not invest into armor. The hard hitting physical bosses/mobs can EASILY be handled via 3 end charges, granites, and/or enfeeble. So to me, spending precious talent points on a defense that only helps vs 1 type of damage is a bit of a waste. I have a pinch over 6k even after the patch. This is more than enough for 95% of the mobs in the game. DISCLAIMER!

for the moment i have some issues with the resistances but have plan to solve it in future. I only have two doubts in this moment, this is: 1: what shield use Daresso's Courage or Aegis but think i will use Aegis 2: The configuration of the gems in the BOR. ![]() Well... I got to briefly experience the epic badassery that is Soul Taker. Amazingly, I was able to hit almost 20k dps with this insane weapon. With a Q mpd gem I can easily break 20k dps, something I NEVER imagined possible when designing this tank build. Sadly, I didn't get to keep the axe, but I now know I must get one no matter what! Thanks to my good friend Beng for setting up the trial run. DISCLAIMER! What are your thoughts on lightning thorns?

" It's almost even worse than Elemental Reflect, very hard to notice it, you keep hitting monsters and suddenly your HP goes fastly down and you wonder "wtf am i standing still cuz hp goes down" and you try to hit more and by doing that you've just killed yourself to lightning thorns. Always be carefull when you see Blackguard Mages, that thorns is horrible, i almost killed myself AGAIN to it last night, it was like THIS close. Then more bad things that will get you killed, if you're not carefull enough / paying attention: 1) 68 Springs map with "Area contains two unique bosses" -mod. When you kill the first boss, be sure to MOVE AWAY from the corpse, if you don't block that corpse explosion from the second boss, it WILL kill you. 2) Map with -25% Max Resistances, Elemental Reflect, if you change your attack gem to Heavy Strike (or any other FULLY PHYSICAL DMG) in example, just because Ele Reflect mod is in the map. If you keep your elemental damage auras on and WED gem in 6 link, then you cast Elemental Weakness curse on a monster that has Ele Reflect + map has it already, you're gonna die faster than you'd be dying with Infernal Blow. 3) Map with -25% Max Resistances and Monsters deal 100% Extra dmg as lightning, let me tell you a story about butthurting yourself... Well i actually did not die there, but it was like THIS close again, no matter what if the map is full of quite hard hitting monsters and you're unlucky blocking, it's going to hurt i can tell. Always be well prepared for -max% resistance maps, specially if it has Increased % elemental damage, take atleast 2 flasks of that damage type, one that dispels curses, one that dispels shocked and one that has extra charges, you can never be too careful with those mods. Well I really don't know what would be the best to counter it.. But 69 Promenade has the Blackguard Mage as boss, always when i go there, i play the whole map with Dominating Blow, with almost 8 attacks per second, it almost kills me when i click just one single time to a monster who has thorns on it, and that was the thing where i almost got my sorry ass killed last night. Just loads of dominated monsters, sit back and grab popcorn :p

Hey guys, another aegis aurora user here :)
So, after last patch elemental reflect damage can be blocked. And when we block something with AA, we should get some energy shield replenishment. I run a couple of elemental reflect maps and it seems that reflect damage that was blocked don't trigger es replenishment at all. Seems like a bug. Can someone confirm it or tell me what i got wrong? standard ign: V_E_R_G_I_L
