Tier 16.5 map rolling is 100% the worst experience in the entire game hands down

You can also check on poedb to see which modifiers give the currency multiplier, you might be blocking a lot of them.

I mean depends what you mean by pay check? some guy spent 4000 chaos on rolling a t17 map, i dont think hes gonna make 30 divs back from that map lol

They weren't forced to do it. 150% currency is like 1 out of 20 rolls i would guess; I see it all the time. With atlas that should be enough. If not then that's their own fault.

You can't balance a game around poor decision making xD.

poor decision making? so someone should just not roll maps at all?
He used 4000 chaos and hes not getting the intended thing?
You're suppose to be rewarded for investing more into maps, but how do you invest more when you can't even roll 150% more with 4000 chaos?
Rethink what you said

lol what a ridiculous paragraph. Clearly you have a talent for posting nonsense hyperbole across many subjects.

"Supposed to be rewarded for investing more into maps": says who? Since when has it ever been an endless sink of pure profit? You need to be SMART with how you invest to maximize profit.....there is no part of this game thats just "throw currency and be rewarded". This has never been true.

Go ahead: jump into a map and use a combo of the 5 most expensive scarabs. Good luck making a profit

"How do you invest more"....you don't. That's the whole point. What is the probabilistic difference between rolling 100% and 200%? What is the expected reward? What have you PASSED on gaining simply because you have chosen to limit yourself to ONLY the singular best roll?

You use your BRAIN in this game. I know its hard to do sometimes...

+ the statement is untrue. While 200% might be rare, you get 150% currency all the time. Needless to say that the ominous guy probably only rolled for 100 chaos before he went on tilt rather than really rolling with 4k chaos. people that roll t17s with 4k chaos usually know the odds and end up selling maps that they can't run and so on.

all that yapping and ad hominem with a private profile, im surely going to take your opinion seriously when i don't even know if you created your profile a year ago or not, but alright you're the scholar, you're the player with 10k hours, you're 100% right.

I'm going to be nice and just give you a lesson on map rolling, instead of making fun of you.

Rolling 16.5's:

1. Build a Regex https://poe.re/#/maps

Should look like this: [mods you can't/won't run] [loot mods you want]
Tip: Keep the mods you don't want small. If theres a mod you won't run, but it still has a good loot multiplier in it, leave it included, then manually sort those out later and list them for sale to recoup your rolling cost. Example: volatile cores.
Tip 2: Set mods you want to 140-190%. Dont filter for quant, The exalts will take car eof it

2. Put a large batch of rare maps in a empty tab.
Don't apply chisels until later
3. Fill your inventory with chaos/exalts for rolling
4. Apply the regex in search bar, hold shift and roll with chaos until highlighted.
5. Move highlights to the side, so you dont roll over them on accident.
6. Repeat

“Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

I have no need of your personal approval. Your posts alone show YOUR experience...long before anything I wrote.

Choose to learn or don't, no skin off my back. But don't you dare spread your misinformation and disinformation to other players without expecting pushback. Keep it to yourself and off the forum.

Posts in the same line of extreme exaggeration and straight up wrong information such as the ones you wrote do a major disservice to this game and REAL conversations that can be had. And I will not be fake-kind to nonsense.
