[Suggestion] 'Automatically' use next available potion of same type
|
Well, it's not what I would do, but it's another option to consider- and this is a suggestion-thread afterall :)
Why don't the seasons fear the reaper?

" Hey, I pretend to take you guys seriously despite arguing about something that is purely common sense, least you could do is pay me the same courtesy. Why don't the seasons fear the reaper?

So i see you're a "last word" kind of guy, cool, one more for you.
I wasn't pretending to be or do anything, just gave my honest "non-dick" feedback to your suggestion, which is "I want to manage my flasks, myself" so by all means add this as an option, YOU can enable. :) Best of luck. Signed: Geldric, scribe of Oriath

I agree with the OP. While I often use instant recovery flasks, freeze recovery flasks, etc, I still find myself just needing to use any mana flask no matter what it is. I think a better solution though, would be if you could keybind groups of flasks. For example, you could bind a key for flasks 1,4, and 5 which would use whichever of them is not empty.

Terrible suggestion that outright dumbs down the game, and no different that any other "im not good at X so please make X easier" request.
If your flask management skills are poor, improve them or make builds that arent flask-reliant. IGN: KoTao

"I should be focusing on the actual game, not staring at my damn flask icons to see which one of three equivalent flasks is full or not. Managing identical flasks adds nothing but tedium and distraction to the game. |

it really isnt that hard to keep track of where the potions are located and how much is in them. not saying that i never use and empty potion or hit the wrong buttons, but when i do, i blame myself and try to get better at it. it could be an option, but it just takes some getting used to.

"What, should I be counting the number of enemies I kill to tell when one of three nigh-identical flasks are going to be charged next? Maybe you play a game where your flasks are almost always charged, but not everyone does. Memorizing which one of my flasks is full or empty when they can fill and empty in a span of 10 seconds is simply not an option. Last edited by Strill#1101 on Jul 15, 2012, 6:10:53 AM
