My Opinion on the Forum Moderators

Also, we each have a different flavor. I'm chocolate.

Yeah. Pretty happy with mods so far. It's nice to read and participate in some of the more colorful threads around here.

It's a fun change of pace for the big kids like me. =D

You all make me ill.

Interesting fact that I have no data other than personal observation and personal feelings to back up with:

People enjoy moderators and developers that communicate with their fanbase. It makes them see them as one of them instead of some all consuming evil power hungry money grabber.

The developers at GGG and the Forum Moderators do a good job of letting us see that they are just as much a person as we are. Keep up the amazing work :)

I'm a pretty avid forum lurker and I rarely post anything but, Its nice seeing such positive posts. The moderators are doing a good job, now i'v already been out of my lurking-bush too long -flees-

I know I'll be here for opening day. The fact that somebody was able to post an 'F you for making a game I like so much' to the mods and everybody was like, 'Yeah! You guys are awesome! F you too!' was actually a really cool thing to see.

It was an exhilarating change from your normal online gaming community.

No one's making you post here, dude. Or even read this. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of other threads in which the moderators aren't mentioned at all, so if someone wants to make one that gives the mods of any given forum some praise, let them. And I'm being utterly objective in this -- I personally don't think it's necessary to do it here, because the overall congeniality of the community here is certainly 'thanks' enough for me. I'm very new to this position and in a way still think of myself as beholden to the standards set by zeto, skiv, malice, whiteboy and witt -- call me Probie or Prospect. The Junior. I don't mind. When praise is given to the mods, I think it goes firstly to those that have been doing this 'job' longer than I. What I found when I got here was already very much competently moderated, and actively supported by the GGG staff.

So take your parade-seeking rain elsewhere, please. This is such a small parade in a huge city. Leave it alone.

My partner plays PoE, so she's...y'know, kinda okay with me doing this somewhat regularly. ^_^
