the update.dat can be found in ~/Library/Application Support/Path Of Exile

I have just manually renamed it to .zip and extracted the executable - it seems to be downloading something now (51G).
Will this ever be resolved? Seems to happen every patch.
I even tried deleting everything and starting from the installer and it's still borked.

Does GGG even car about mac users?
MacOS always have a problem every patch

GGG doesn't't care
I'm having the same issue about a patch being required.

On the login screen, where the version number usually is, it just says PoE1. Does anyone else see this?
yea same for me. it says a new patch is available and i should restart but then theres no update. Hope they finally start fixing the steam version so i dont have to bother more with the weird system
new patch on Steam installed and nothing happend.
still the same problem.
no solution for this so far? ;q sad
Same for me. Steam won't launch it and when I open it directly my Mac tells me: "'Path of Exile' is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash." Also, when I enter system settings-->privacy and secuirity, it says "Path of Exile was blocked to protect your Mac"
