finally found a "wealth" modded monster. a.k.a "RNG strikes again"

after hundreds of hours played, his highness RNG decided I deserve a reward: "Wealth" Voidbearer in Merciless Docks.
running, fire-spitting treasure chest which I wasted no time in opening.

and got this:

the rest was - as usual - white and blue 1-socket trash.

while it is a very nice gem my Witch would love to get, and so rare it's the first time I see it - to say I expected a bit more from a once-in-a-lifetime mob, would be a huge understatement.

maybe I'm just cursed or something :(


more than 2 months. hundreds of hours. crap loot I can't even trade. no currency higher than 2 Chaos and 2 Blessed. some worthless blue level 66-68 maps pointless to farm...

damn it, how is it even possible to get RNG-screwed so many times and so consistently?

I'm just way past the red line of complete and total frustration right now.
all my optimism for this game, went down the drain.
no longer can I take punches to the face and keep smiling.

for the love of God, GGG - please fix the drop system.

never thought I'd write this, and tried as best as I possibly could to avoid this feeling -
but maybe I should just stop playing, and come back when the game is released?

I think it's rather new than rare.
Unless I was very lucky, because I think I found one of those recently.

I only found a pack a few weeks ago, in Church Dungeon. Blues and a few crappy yellows and that's all :(

Nice gem! Too bad it has low Q. Gratz on finding a wealth mob. Never saw one myself.

I saw one in CB and got 2 uniques (Dream Fragments + Doedre's Damning) and a pile of rares.
I saw 4 in OB and got blues. 1 rare on the first one, 3 rares on the third one. White/blue on the other two.

Saw one in CB in merciless pyramid, oh man the amount of items that came off of that guy, cant remember but it was like 9 rares, was in a duo group though so there was a little IIQ

I saw one just after open beta started, when doing maps on my scrubcore Witch. Can't remember whether it dropped anything good, but man it dropped a lot.

Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiit of a douchey way to talk about default, don't see many folks in "scrubcore" referring to hardcore as "noliferbasementdwellermarketobsessivecore"

Really is sad to see people misusing the term "scrub" too... kinda irks me in the way misused meme's do...

It wasn't really meant as an insult, seeing I mentioned playing it myself =)
