Guild Application: The Wayward Monk Returns (EU)
Dear Esteemed Guildmates-to-be, I write to you not as a seasoned slayer of Uber bosses or a min-maxing loot goblin (yet), but as a humble, bald-headed Monk—fresh from the Eastern mountains, or perhaps just Act 1, depending on who’s asking. After years of wandering (read: adulting), I’ve returned to Path of Exile 2, older, wiser, and only slightly worse at dodging ground effects. My character—a newly rolled Monk—is a spiritual warrior focused on inner peace, outer violence, and punching things until they stop being problems. I bring to your guild: A renewed passion for PoE2, mixed with mild confusion about all the things that changed since I last played. Deep respect for loot etiquette, except when it comes to 6-links—then it’s everyone for themselves. A voice in Discord, equal parts helpful and sarcastic. I’ll never be the loudest, but I’ll always be the one reminding you that we forgot to grab the waypoint. A sense of humour, honed by dying to mechanics I didn't read about, and being proud of it. What I’m looking for in a guild: Friendly people to play with who don’t mind explaining mechanics twice (or thrice). Chill banter between mapping, bossing, and inevitably arguing over whose fault the wipe was. Group content, camaraderie, and at least one guild member who hoards wisdom scrolls like they’re currency. In conclusion, I may be a newly reborn Monk, but I’m fully committed to the path—unless that path has reflect damage, in which case I’m taking a different route.
