January 10 Screenshot of the Week
It's not contrast. The parts of each screenshot that without affected by light or shadow of any object. They are exactly same except the camera angle.
http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/1603/anotherone.jpg It's not the camera angle. Left one from the old ss (a marauder stands next to the dusty part) and right one from the new ss (characters are far away from the dusty part). So the image on the left should be more lighted but it's not the case here because lighting is improved. http://img816.imageshack.us/img816/3151/camerae.jpg Are you convinced now? :) He who fights with monsters
might take care lest he thereby become a monster. |

No. Let's not spread rumours. Chris, or someone else from GGG?

" This is the difference between you and me. :) Thanks for the clarification. This debate reminded me of a poem. I can see what you see not Vision milky, then eyes rot. When you turn, they will be gone, Whispering their hidden song. Then you see what cannot be Shadows move where light should be. Out of darkness, out of mind, Cast down into the Halls of the Blind. Great to finally see a trade screen shot, likes :) and love the drag feature.
cheers |

" It's also a little quicker to shift/click. But to each their own I guess. The major function is designed for showing gear to other players, so it's not a big deal just a suggestion. In either case it's not going to effect my play experience very much, we're talking 3 seconds or less here. Happy Days Abound.

Screenshot also reveals another class, Desecrator. Int/Dex.

" Not necessarily... it shows a Witch and Ranger trading. Desecrator could be some super kewl name the player was partial too. But I guess we'll find out. |

" Seems like a lot of wasted hours determining the values of everything instead of letting the players determine it themselves. E.g. if two players wants to trade a brutal club for a gem of frost that in itself will make the two items equally valued. (That, and who'd want X cracked sashes added to every deal just to make the deal evaluator let it through?) |

groovy , chat item linking is nice . would also like some additional bindable alternate+click add link method , no need to remove drag to chat - simply add to the options . is there going to be confirm on drop ? is it a toggle op ? just thinking about security and annoyance here . there is no need to worry/complain about trade-values,game-money,and scams until the game is publically accessable *cb* . --- .

" The beauty of the barter system is the ability to rip people off. It's a skill really, just like haggling in real life. I myself was on the losing ends of many trades in D2, but I didn't care, I wanted what they had. I am a poor freezingly cold soul
So far from where I intended to go |
