A Question Concerning Dual Wielding

We used to not have the restriction on dual wielding ranged an melee weapons - this resulted in you being able to hit things for sword (or other melee weapon) damage at wand range. This was removed significantly before the beta started because it was so abusable. My understanding is that we'd like to one day be able to allow it and have range determine which weapon is used, but that's a bit tricky and not a high priority compared to other things we need in the game at the moment.

*cough* lightning strike *cough*
A specific attack intended to work by firing projectiles is a very different thing form having a character swing a sword for a basic attack and still hit monsters on the other side of the screen :P

Funny that, I was about to do this when I got into the beta on version 0.9.4...
