anyone have less than 5 keybinds on their mouse?

EDIT***: my premise was wrong, most people who have responded actually just
use a few mouse buttons, and mostly use the keyboard!

this being said, consider using more buttons on your mouse! not
calling you wrong, but i have missed a lot of options in my life,
this is a possible option you can use. some will like it, apparently
most dont care! thats fine too. if it works it works.

***

I was just wondering about the obvious. I've used a 6-7 button
mouse for about ten or fifteen years...

I bet 75% or more of us use such mice, and that some even use
those heavy handed WOW mice with like 15 buttons.

I dont see how its possible to play seriously with a two button mouse.

Really ? I have like nothing binded ...been playing the game just fine...

Of course I usually play wardloopers but at league start I usually play whatever and I still play fine.

I get like 38 , 40 every league, usually farm ubers/feared...like I do not see a problem...

I like never played with addons even in WoW...Except for details that just shows the damage/healing and interupts.

well, ive been using my mouse hand to cast my main spell, my curse,
hydro orb, frost blink and spell totem. the lmb is strictly for movement.

keyboard hand covers flasks, summon golem, frost shield, frost bomband ctrl click for my auras.

I cant imagine even using all of these skills with keyboard alone.
every hotkey is used. (also several spells/curse are not 2-3 linked
due to not having enough sockets available. frost bomb/summon golem/frost shield
are all 1 linked on my boots!)

I want more hotkeys! maybe 1 or 2.
I use a traditional mouse setup (2-Button) approach. Left hand does more multitasking on the keyboard than right hand on mouse. I'm from the generation where 1-button mouse was a more common thing though, so I don't claim to be normal in this day and age.

I only use lmb, rmb, mousewheel up/down.
The middle mousebutton is replaced by "D" and I don't have a use for the two sidebuttons (back, forth) in PoE.

I used to have an MMO mouse for other games but even in those games I stopped using additional mousebuttons eventually.

i got the most basic mouse 2 buttons and wheel
Its not about "I cant bind it to LMB". Its about "I cant bind it to button I already use for movement so I dont need to think about using it"
I have standard 5 button (L, R, wheel, 2 side buttons) mouse but I do not bind anything to middle mouse button. It just doesn't feel ergonomically right, so I use the wheel only for zoom.
leftclick - berserk/move.
rightclick - attack.
q - leapslam.
w,e,r - totem + curse which i seldomly use.
spacebar - lifeflask... with corrupt immunity.

already feels a couple of buttons too much.

I found the scroll wheel (left/right) buttons the hardest to use,
but I got used to it a long time ago playing sc2. (control groups)
(as a zerg, i used '~' + 1-5 for inject/hatchery control)

so I got used to adding tasks to my mouse hand literally because
it was so utterly effective running hatch control with the kbd.
(could inject 5 hatches in 2-3 seconds)

my build enjoys an amount of synergy from the secondary skills I use
and I select the keystone extra that "increases cast speed by 5% for
each instant spell cast recently." which for me is regularly 20% -25%
and occasionally when I resummon a golem 30%.

so im frostshielded, boss is frost bombed, hydrosphere is pulsing at the boss,
frostbite is cursed upon the boss. spell totem is blasting at the boss.
I just move around evasively and reup each of these skills and maintain
multiple sources of damage, debuff culminating in a bonus 25% cast speed.

pelting at him with my primary for 2-4 second bursts and reupping my secondary
skills as i kite around.

but im a crafter... where APM and multitasking is key.
