Memory overflow in linux
I'm not sure why you're not using -gc 1 (you can try -gc 2) here.
Cache preloads won't take 'all your main memory'; it will use up any GPU shader cache definitions you've set (the default is 1GB). If you're way above 1080P and getting toward 4K you need a 5GB shader cache at the very least (nVidia's driver allows for 100GB, but I mean, that's for Unreal 5.x and the best m.2 SSD you can buy). |
