oh you bumped an old thread. I would say yes its possible, but I don't really see the need for using claws when you usually already cap the lifesteal on normal with life on hit gems. If you get Vaal Pact, get Iron Reflex and Unwavering Stance, then I think its not a bad build, but you really only have access to one Claw Node which is still pretty far even when you get Iron Reflexes.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone makes this possible, but I'm sure not the one to do it. It basically is really hard to keep your motivation up to go all the way to the claw nodes before actually using your claw.
