Hello. So, I've been using this build and, for the most part, it's been working pretty well. I made a scuffed Quan Chi (https://mortalkombat.fandom.com/wiki/Quan_Chi) cosplay out of my Templar and it's pretty great. :D

That said, I'm very confused about something: how are you able to fit Grace, Determination, and Hatred into this?

Ah, that's because I have Armor Mastery for Determination Aura, and Evasion Mastery for Grace Aura, as well as the 2 Aura wheels. You only took one of them so far.

Here's that trash Quan Chi cosplay I mentioned, based off his Summoner variation from MKX (hence the red bits) as I don't have enough items for his core appearance (i.e. not enough green bits). Edit: Yes, even with all that bollocks on the right, I don't have enough green bits. :D

My apologies if this is a really dumb question but how are you summoning Phantasms whilst using Phantasmal summon skeletons? The support gem says that phantasmal minions cannot summon phantasms.

No, that's a good question. It refers to Summon Phantasm itself, not to Alternate Quality Gems. No issue with Phantasmal Summon Skeletons.

My reason for asking was because I'm not getting any Phantasms summoned from my Phantasmal summon skeletons skill gem at all. It's only 3% quality so far as I only just started the league. I'm using the gem as melee skeletons for now and get zero phantasms summoned. If I swap out the gem with a Vaal summon skeletons into the same item with the same supports, I get loads of Phantasms.

It's very odd but it just doesn't work for me. Could it be that it only works with the ranged skeletons? My supports are a level 17 summon phantasm, melee phys and minion damage.
