New System 'Harvest Magic'

It sounds very interesting and it would be a nice addition to the gameplay. I am not sure if this could later make some balancing problems or something like that, but generally i like it.

I don't like the idea.

Having items you pass up is part of the game.

Save the salvaging and crafting for MMOs.

There will be standard selling of loot for currency items, (for those not in the beta, it's meta game in itself).

Then there will be "trade recipes".
It's not crafting, it's a specific set of items that a vendor will take in exchange for specific item(s).

Hm, what would be the difference to gold then? You'd get dust farmers in no time and in comes the grind aspect...

Looks like a good idea to me, but how are you going to reduce the gear to dust? A scroll? A salvage kit? Maby even by NPC?

A salvage kit seems like the best idea to me.
sounds like enchanting from every MMO ever...I like it, but I don't think it's really worth development time. If I had to pick between that and a new class or that and one more boss, I wouldn't pick your system.

I really like the break down of old items, but I think their could be a better way to go with it! I honestly dont have a better idea but I think a team of game makers could brain storm something to test in the beta phase.

Actually I like this idea a lot. Especially if you can disenchant unwanted items anywhere on the battlefield. You pick up items, you don't have to sell them at vendors (or go to town from battlefield).
I like slaying monsters. In ACTION rpg, the enchanting/crafting system should be easy and fast. This is much simpler and faster than accumulating specific combinations of items to sell them to vendors (which probably requires a lot of town trips and stash handling - which can get kind of boring and frustrating)
