Reached a new node and was killing some enemies when the game quit with no warning. Crash after leaving a map and returning to hideout. Crashed to desktop twice on Nov 9 before the patch. Let update last night (I am in UTC-5 timezone, it is now 21:18.) Crashed three more times today, always in maps, usually after dying and returning to the map. Don't think i've ever crashed before. Next time it crashes, check your games installation folder for the log files before re-opening the game and try and find the most pertinent information (usally at the end of the client.txt file). Looking in \Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\, no client.txt file found, nor any with "log". There are pairs of files named "PoE-{number}.dmp" and ~.dmp.txt. Most recent is "PoE-1636737926-8964-5716.dmp.txt" dated Nov 12 at 12:25 with just a little info: User Area Incursion_Temple8 Seed 3743628259 Build release tags/3.16.1 185786 OSBits 64 --------------- Played a couple of maps without incident, then crashed upon death in a Vaal side area of a T6 map: User Area MapWorldsPort Seed 2212729977 Build release tags/3.16.1 185786 OSBits 64 ------------ Checked Event Viewer\Application at the time of crashes and had exactly the same "Application Error" as Nicholas. Go to where the game is installed to, there is a Logs folder there. If you're playing on Steam you'll want to "Browse the Local Files".
