0.9.9 Patch Notes

I've got some assignments to do but this patch is too awesome to miss.

Really looking forward to trying out these trap and totem skills.

Wait a minute, what happens with the minions ai? we need some info about that.

Also don't forget to update the beta manifesto.

Sounds like a pretty damn hard thing to put into words. You expect them to describe everything about it? lol They're already said a little about it in the patch notes. It's not something you can perfectly explicate in text.

That said I felt SO sad just now when I tried to log in since the patch is not out yet :(

They can't please everyone, just the majority, and I believe the majority supports these changes in a big, big way. Hopefully you'll stick around, as I assure you this game is only going to keep getting better.

Increased the size of many game areas to improve pacing and level progression.

This would be fine if instances didn't expire so quickly. 15 minutes is not that much time, so I often find myself trying to rush for a waypoint when I need to stop playing for whatever reason.

Rare and unique items drop at the same rates as before. We took that into account.

We made some small minion AI changes that I didn't want to include in the patch notes because they might overpromise. Improvements (including AI and new minion features) are coming in subsequent patches.
