Technical Support - Constant disconnects.... - Forum

1 thing to check is if your modem has a built-in router and you use a separate router, make sure your NAT settings in the modem are set to bridged. This completely fixed all my "unexpected disconnection has occurred" issues. I had used the built-in router til recently and forgot to change this when I bought a better quality router. I was getting the "unexpected disconnection" every 3-5 minutes until I switched the NAT setting to bridged on the modem. If you change it make sure to restart the modem and router afterwards.
