What is even worse is that people that haven't logged on in 6 months to almost a year get picked. Those people forgot the game LONG ago. Seems like a waste in my opinion but if GGG wants to go that way then whatever, not our choice.

Yes, because GGG need to appeal to all types of gamers, Casual, Hardcore etc. After all there will be a lot of casual gamers playing this game. If GGG only appeal to one range of gamers then the game won't attract the attention it deserves and thus could fail due to lack of funding. For it to be casual friendly we also need to get feedback from them as well.

I agree, but someone who has not logged in 6 months at least to provide information. How is that helpful again? That just shows that they saw a game quite sometime ago that sparked their interest in the moment. Then forgot all about it the next day. How can that person provide information if they are not actually playing?

Also, beta is not a time to try to appeal to people. It a time to help polish the game up so that when a casual player does step foot in the game for the first time. They will actually enjoy a finished game, not to get into beta where not even half the game is implemented.

if like you said people for got about the game and they see that they got a beta key dont you think there going to play the game its a way to get back gamers that they may have lost b4.
