Ya, the outside jewel sockets are the only sockets that can handle Cluster jewels. You're correct that the travel nodes leading to it are pointless. I personally have yet to find (in solo self found) a cluster jewel worth my time so I don't find a need for the socket personally. As a guide though, it's important to include something as valuable as a cluster socket, so that's why it's there. You raise a good point that isn't in the guide though. I should mention that. What I use is https://filterblast.xyz to check out how my filter actually looks and I use the "Alt-click" in the top right of the screen to see if I've missed anything. It's a well-maintained site. So I copy my filter info from the PoE website and paste it there. The sounds I use are listed in the top of the filter along with the colour themes: # Sounds: # Epic - 1 # Currency - 12 # Maps - 16 # Gear - 7 # Uniques - 9 # League/Quest - 14 of which I use different volumes of those sounds (or non at all) depending on the rarity/value of the item, and I get the Shaper voices from here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1940934. Minions always works well for low-normal tier maps but once you get to the strong bosses they die way too fast. Would play this build if someone can share his/her experience on high tier maps. If I have trouble with a map with a different build, this is the build I bring in to finish the job. Just my part from a real gameplay perspective. Allies benefit from the aura per say, but you have to be the one to earn stacks. So we simply use the banner for the damage increases of the aura.
