POB says that impale is better than damage on full life. Anyone confirm or say why to use damage on full life

I think im close to get the maximum out of this build.
I got like 1.7m DPS per Golem with 6 Golems active and i dont even have LVL 21 Golem. The only problem that i have right now is that i die easily. Seems pretty solid to me.
I've learned you do have to take a more defensive playstyle; you can't just run into the fray with your golems. You need to hang back on the edges and let them do work, or circle the fight so that mobs can't get a lock on you. | |

Hey great guide! I actually played it for a while, changed builds and returned yesterday because it was super solid.
I have a question though, now that we have Valdo´s region with a lot of harbingers, it seems the golems die a lot to chaos damage. Is there a way to reliably make them tankier to chaos damage? I know abyss jewels have 10% inc chaos res to minions, but i didn´t see you taking that stat on the guide. Or maybe to get them more leech/regen is the way? Is there any way to play this without the Clayshapers? I feel like i could have enough DMG with 4 Golems. But i dont know if there would be any better solutions for big defenses.

Tried doing the breachlords invitation and lost 60% xp because golems die instantly....
