I made some big upgrades to my gear based on your advice:



I am in the midst of getting an enhance - blood rage setup going. Do you think its better to run a CWDT molten shell/immortal call setup or is it better to use enduring cry for an additional line of defense? I already have pretty reliable endurance charge generation when using leap slam with endurance charge on stun in maps. Also, how are you generating rage to use with berserk? I'm not going the cluster jewel route and I don't if I can substitute rage into my 6L double strike setup.

Hey, dude, thanks again for posting your progress!
If you take note of my disclaimer at the start of the post related to the 3.11 league changes, you'll see that I stated that I don't use Rage charges anymore.

But if you are willing to use Rage charges (and knowing you are not going for the Cluster Jewel route) you can use the Chainbreaker keystone that comes from the Lethal Pride Timeless jewel, the one that has the Commander Leadership of Akoya. You can allocate Chainbreaker by putting your jewel in the socket near the Eternal Youth keystone, this will turn Eternal Youth into Chainbraker which will cost you an extra passive point if you want to use it.

For more information, check the Wiki to know how the Chainbraker keystone works, but in small words, it regenerates 3 Rage charges per second according to your mana regen. Increases and reductions to mana regeneration apply to Rage generation instead, with the downside of losing 1 Rage charge every time you hit an enemy.

For the CWDT setup, take into account that Molten Shell is a guard skill that will share cooldown time with Immortal Call too if they are linked with the CWDT support gem. You can have a CWDT + Immortal Call (or whatever Guard skill you want here) and then you can have a separate setup for Molten Shell, as you may want to level up the skill as much as you can.

What guard skill do you think is the best for me to run on my CWDT setup? I'm sitting at just over 6k hp.

I always run Immortal Call, but I guess it could be Divergent Steelskin for example, that provides you with some more defense for a period of time and provides you 20% to all resistances at max quality. Or the Anomalous version of the regular Molten Shell which buff can take additional Damage equal to 0.25% of your Armour. If you have a good amount of it, Molten Shell can help for more damage mitigation.

Honestly, I don't think there's a "best" guard skill. It all depends on what you want to use, the Divergent Immortal Call for example is also pretty good to use on the CWDT. It's all up to you :) I suggest you test the skills by yourself and make your own conclusions.

I was just wondering about that haha I was taking some notes on my tree, playing with the Unstoppable/Fortitude and Conqueror/Worthy Foe.

In theory, PoB says that Conqueror/Worthy Foe gives you more damage than Unstoppable/Fortitude, and due to you being able to Taunt all the time, you have life regen and the enemies cannot evade your attacks which gives you the freedom to not worry about accuracy on gear.

But if you have your accuracy capped (through gear. Gloves, rings, amulet for example) then Unstoppable/Fortitude gives you more damage mitigation and some attack speed on top of that. For more survivability or if you don't care that much for your damage, I would go for Unstoppable/Fortitude and would drop Conqueror/Worthy Foe.

Both notables are pretty good, but I always Conqueror/Worthy to not worry about accuracy. Getting gear with accuracy is more expensive.

Hey, dude. I've checked your profile and your tree. I'll go point to point.

• You are using the regular version of Double Strike: you are not using the Vaal version of it. Try to get a 21/23 Vaal Double Strike gem, is very cheap as not so many people play the skill.
• Your jewelry: it seems you have some troubles with resistances with other parts of your gear as well, as you've pathed up to the Sentinel passive node to grab some resistances and the smaller nodes as well. On the other hand, you don't have any damage from it, then you are losing some DPS there. Fix your jewelry, take into account life, physical damage to attacks, resistances, these three are the most important things. Last but not least, stats if you need them, and accuracy. Your belt is quite good but if you can get a Stygian Vise belt with similar mods that would be awesome!
• If you can recraft your boots, that would be nice: you don't get too many benefits from them besides Elusive and Tailwind but nothing else. Try to get more resistances and life, this will give you more space for damage to other parts of your gear.
• Your chest can be better: given the broken economy you can get a better chest piece for cheap. You are on the right track with the mods, but try to get more resistances and more life.
• Last but not least, your foils: they are good for the early mapping and even to take red maps. But you will want better foils, after all, a pair of 350 ~ 380 pDPS foils with 1.9 ASP with some crit chance/crit multi are good enough to take all content.
