How do I report RMT?
Few months after ps4 launch I reported a big number of rmt players with undeniable evidence to support. I got an email back that they forwarded it to the right person and never heard anything after that. None of the person got banned cause I bookmarked their profiles.
Since it was on softcore and it did not affect me (was playing hardcore) I let it slide and forgot about it. Now this season the RMT is also on HC. I'm not going to name anyone but a certain player on PS4 HC does it on a certain website. He buy everything on market. Example: the baron helmet used to be around 1ex now they are 10ex if they on market. I'm not playing a necro this is just an example. Because this person keeps dying and buys items from market it AFFECTS me and it's starting to piss me off. How do I report this? I always thought it was against the rules but it seems GGG does not care aslong as you buy supporter packs. [Removed by Support] Last bumped on Mar 10, 2020, 4:00:00 AM

not sure how you can collect undeniable evidence of such a thing, but you have two choices.
you accept that GGG has investigated it and came to the conclusion that it wasn't RMT and your evidence wasn't conclusive, or correct. or you think that GGG supports RMT or doesn't care as long as you buy supporter packs and blah blah blah. either way, not sure why you think you're entitled to be kept in the loop about it. if you think you have evidence you can send it to support. thats all you can do and of course you won't hear anything more about it |

" Agreed, not sure how you could possibly claim this. ~ Mostly an SSF player. Last edited by BasilWood#4500 on Mar 5, 2020, 10:31:06 AM

Well for evidence if you really really wanted, you could create an idexing tool that captures a x player public stash 24/7 while keeping another indexing in PoE Profile, for example, capturing how much time that player is spending online, how his "maps challenge is progressing" and how his gear is going.
With this you would be able to find discrepancies between playtime, mapping, trading and gear acquisition and get enough evidence of RMT (not proof, just evidence). Of course that requires the accused player to not hide his profile. |

Wait, really?
You don't have anything better to do with your life then checking the rmt sites for what is for sale, and then check peoples profiles to see if they have this item? Really?! And how does his rmt affect you? @Mortyx there is one thing you forgot, maybe this person is in some guild, so he gets his gear from there |

" I would love that tool. Especially for guilds who want to be honest with assumptions. It would be easy to find suspicious persons, check them and report them if necessary. |

" If you actually read my post you would know how it affect me. The supply of endgamd items is very limited on ps4 hc unlike pc. [Removed by Support]

" Nah i don't care, Bots and RMT will exist whenever there are people to give them money, it's a lost battle that only GGG themselves can fight. Regarding guilds, as i said you would get only evidence, i don't believe there is anyway to 100% prove someone RMT. *put tinfoil hat* Unless Tencent look at their transactions since they own most of the RMT sites. *take tinfoil hat off* |

" you're right, it is just evidence not proof. "enough" evidence is kinda subjective. who knows if he has a friend and just gets gifted a headhunter, or whatever. or in a guild and all kinds of other factors involved. hell. could even just be a mule account and he's trading with himself my point is i don't think a separate 3rd party player could gather "enough" evidence of someone else RMTing, other than their own jealousy and rageness |
