So .... more (grey) screen clutter/vomit and more powercreep ?
And of course, as the trailer says ( of Chris Wilson said ) "rewards" "rewards" "rewards", because carrots are what makes a game interesting and fun, right ???
*sigh* edit : the new passive tree extension jewels are quite interesting though, but adding more keystones is going to make the game powercreepy, since the balance team isn't actually balancing the game but making a mess out of it ... SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading. I'm cool with the rewards, so long as we have agency over what we get. Betrayal was amazing for that. I could do without the powercreep though.

I would like a Carrot league with bunnies, pinatas and secret cows level
But well :( Last edited by Universalis#5776 on Feb 25, 2020, 7:56:32 PM

Agreed, league looks great. Super excited about the passive tree changes, and the animate weapon changes.

The new jewel system seems pretty interesting, I'll give them that.
the grey vomit though ... it's just like "what will be the colour of the next clutterting elements next league ?" SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Well, new keystones could not be too powercreepy, it does not have to be, but I have no faith in GGG's balance team at this point, so if they are going as far as adding new keystones ... it will likely be powercreepy, we don't know what keystones can be potentially added there.

I'm just afraid of that fog, totally destroying my fps.
Other than that, meh. Nothing amazing or mindblowing. Actually I don't like the new overcomplicated tree. :| |

Probably all that mixed up with a bunch of poorly telegraphed oneshots. That's poe. Some things never change

Lets imagine a league without power creep. Where all the items are for new builds or for side grades.
Now lets ask how many people actually actively experiment with new items, builds? Considering it takes massive knowledge and currency. I would estimate maybe 5 percent. Took me 4 leagues before i made my own good build. So how would a league for 5 percent sound? |
