I just found Large Chest! With Treasure! (feedback about IIQ/IIR stacking).
" So do that and leave my thread (apparently you dont have anything CONSTRUCTIVE to say about this issue because all that you comment its ME) bacause you are spamming ffs.... Stop this. Please. If you want comment my style make an OT thread. BTW Issues still valid. Eot for me atm. PS. Im not "trolling B" all i write is game reality with screens and examples to back it up. and im not even like D3 - comparision is to show how bad situation here is. BEcause emphasis on very bad MF mechanic is enormous in POE. Its bad design imho. I hope that will make this madness to stop. :) Last edited by KarraKurri#7943 on Apr 2, 2013, 7:10:28 PM

Loot from bosses/Large chests should be like a big piñata!
Yes, maybe you won't get that nice, sweet, awesome chocolate bar you are hoping to get, but you can still eat all the other candy you get which is still cool! Like really, who doesn't like a piñata? Huh? No one? Case closed then... |

IIQ works on chests.
IIR does not. IGN: TsuruyaNyro

" Pretty sure you're wrong. Mark said in regards to vaults map that you'd be better off going in naked as IIR/IIQ doesn't affect chests. If it wasn't from like 6 months ago I'd try and hunt it down. Finished 17th in Rampage - Peaked at 11th
Finished 18th in Torment/Bloodline 1mo Race - peaked at 9th Null's Inclination Build 2.1.0 - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1559063 Summon Skeleton 1.3 - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1219856 |

Im pretty sure that IQ/IR has no effect on things like chests and pots, probably for similar reasons in D3 (well in D3 they massively reduced the drop rate on things like pots and chests to help prevent botting)

Jesus, it just gets worse on these forums.
IIQ and IIR do exactly what they are meant to do: Risk and Reward. If you are able to run with high IIQ/IIR you give up a lot of defense or offense typically. If you dont, you have rolled good items. People complain the game is a grind, well no shit sherlock. It's a hack and slash RPG in it's BETA stage and you complain you need to grind in the high levels? Do you people even realise act 4 is not even in the game? Do you realize that higher level maps are not in the game because act 4 is not in the game? Do you realise this is a BETA and not a finished product? You are playing a BETA, ladies and gentlemen. You are here to TEST the content available. To give feedback and help detect glitches/bugs. Youre not here to complain. Which is what 95% of the people are doing. This is why i would never EVER do an open beta unless you need to pay to get in. Why? Because you prevent 70% of 95% of complainers from playing your game and those that do give feedback have already bought the game, so they will do anything to make their purchase worth it. Open Beta's are just such a bad excuse for free QA testing, it probably creates more work then it solves. Stop playing, start testing. If you dont like the content youre testing, then quit and come back when the game is released in the fall (or whenever it is officially released). |

Please forget about the name that they currently give to the form of release. It's available to anyone who wants to play. They are taking money through the microtransaction store, and don't plan on charging anyone at release. They are not going to wipe characters. All of these things make it feel like its in full release. To be fair, they are also patching frequently, dealing with balance issues, and dealing (I hope) with networking issues. So in that way, its also like a beta.
I have wondered about drops too. I have 7 characters going at once. All of them are young, at about level 35 and about to go to Cruel. Since I'm playing that many characters, the chance that any item I find will be useful to me is seven times as great as it is for a person who is focusing on one toon. Even at level 35, I have gone as many as six or seven levels, on all seven characters, without finding anything useful for any of them. This makes me very concerned about what's coming up. I also have noticed a curtailing of unique drops. I had found three uniques in Act 1. So far, not a single unique in acts 2 and 3 for all seven characters. I'm not complaining about this. But I am curious about whether my experience is an outlier, or if its closer to the norm. And last night, I had to laugh twice about drops: I found a large chest in Solaris, and it popped nothing but whites and one wisdom scroll. Then, about five minutes later, I killed the statue boss who summons the water minions, and she dropped three rares and a regal. Sometimes, RNG loot seems perverse. The main attraction to me for this game is the idea that I will be able to find items that will make me want to roll new characters just to play with those items. That was one of the things that kept me going for so long in D2, and had me come back to that game from MMO's, at least twice. And I quit D3 precisely because the game design seems directly counter to that. Here, the design looks right, and some of the items I have seen would make me want to do that. I'm still very hopeful on this score, but concerned. |

" actually it was rhys who pointed out going in naked age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" I agree! Its absolutely stupid for anyone to give their feedback to a beta game in a forum named "beta feedback." How utterly ridiculous of any one to leave any type of feedback on an unfinished game, especially when invited to do so! All these noob assphats should be neutered irl for having any opinion at all. Down with feedback!! Down with Feedback!! Down with Feedback!! |

" Quit misrepresenting him. He is against complaining, not feedback. "This is bad and if you don't fix it, I'm leaving." is bad feedback. "This is bad and this is how I would fix it" is good feedback and not complaining. I agree with him, honestly. |
