I just started the patching on Steam at 17:13, but it is still going on 100% (18:53 right now...).
These 15-20MB patches are unbeliavable long like always, and it does not show any plus information about the downloading/installing. EDIT: 19:15 - I just got black screen for 10-15 mins so i needed to shutdown my laptop. It is starting installing from the beginning. Nice Steam Client. EDIT2: Installing for 4 hours right now... Is it real this is need to be so long? Any tips for patching PoE on Steam or should i choose stand alone installer for now? Last edited by Phoenry on Jul 9, 2019, 3:06:12 PM

" Fun fact: If there isn't at least 51 GB (twice the size of the GGPK) free space on your SSD, Steam uses another disk for patching and then copies the patched file back to the disk where your game is installed. I guess it's either 1 or 48,000. Nothing in between, right?

When i update a few megs automatically redownload all of 20Gb game...

use standalone client = no problems at all, even running game from slow wd green hdd
just clean this folders after each patch 1. poe_folder\CachedHLSLShaders 2. poe_folder\ShaderCacheD3D11 or ShaderCacheD3D11GI whatever setting you use with global illumination or without 3. C:\Users\****\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\Minimap Last edited by Sonidox on Jul 9, 2019, 4:28:23 PM

" Not according my experience. Or is there something I can change in settings? I have around 24.5 GB free space on SSD and GGPK have 25+ GB and when I forget move few files from SSD to HDD my steam updating process stop and says Not Enough of Space and waiting until I make it. |

was there something special about this patch? I am sitting here over 2 hours now. I just swapped my hard drive out from an SD to a hybrid from Seagate. Are all patches going to take hours now? How is that sustainable for everyone?
