Game keeps launching as a Background Process instead of an Application

Any time I try to launch Path of Exile is seemingly does nothing, eventually I checked my Task Manager and found that it was only launching as a Background Process.
I have tried many things to fix this; I tried running the game as Admin I tried to let the Background Process run it's course. (After 6 hours of nothing I gave up that plan) I tried the PackCheck.exe to see if anything was wrong. (It gave an All-Clear) I've tried --nopreload, --noasync, and --require-launcher but none of the changed anything. I've even tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling Path of Exile but that had no effect either. If anyone knows how to fix this so that I can actually play PoE again, please let me know! fixed it !!
just a tip for you guys. read the log file of the client. you can find it under: [whereever you have poe installed]/path of exile/logs/client.txt (newest entries are at the bottom) for me it was a display error: 2019/12/10 17:19:52 15480718 13d [WARN Client 3020] Output for adapter NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 of \.\DISPLAY1 has no display modes.
