UNABLE TU LAUNCH GAME [SHADE] OODLE: FAILED TO DECOMPRESS

I am getting the same error. Windows updated to version 1803 (KB4493437). PoE also updated today. I cleared/deleted ShaderCache folders, no fix. I also Uninstalled and reinstalled both the Steam Version and direct from the website. Cleared all POE folders and files after both uninstalls and reinstalls.

Both installs were done on different SSDs on my PC. All NVIDIA Drivers up to date, Ver. 430.39 as of this posting. Same error every install.

Also having this exact issue since latest Steam patch.
Was getting random crashes as is..
And now game crashes on startup. sigh.

Would you be able to try a clean re-install in that case (make sure to delete everything, not just the folder from mygames/pathofexile).

Like I said in OP, I reinstalled the whole game (deinstalling from steam & deleted the remainings in the path folder) AND deleted the mygames/path of exile THEN reinstalled

I Still have problems with my STEAM version, I sent emails to GGG to convert my account to be able to login with an email.

The stand-alone version works without a problem

SO i had this problem myself all i did was go to uninstall the game and it asked if i wanted to repair or uninstall i repaired it and when i went to relaunch i ran as administrator works just fine now



Edit: seems running as administrator makes it work fine but the repair did nothing so i have to run it as administrator everytime to get it to work

If you go into your steam folder and find PoE just run as admin and it will start until fault is fixed

I have done everything that has been mention, but there issue still persist.

I managed to fix it my self.
I went to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Path of Exile
Right click PathOfExileSteam, Properties > Compatibility

1# Run this program in compatibility Windows 8 even tho i have W10.

2# Reduced colour mode 16-bit

3# Run 640x480 mode u can change it later ingame.

4# Disable full-screen

5# Run this program as an administrator.

6# Change high DPI setting all on.

If this dosen't work go to Digital Signatures and click both grinding gear > Details View cerificate > install Certificate.
