100% sure people have probably vendored 10 ex+ base fractured items.
" Not even remotely true. If you crack open a fossil formation and see a single fossil drop and it's new to you it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know you should keep it. On the other hand this league's equivalent of a hollow fossil - ie a really great fractured item? It could be as simple as a t2 reduced attributes and 2 throwaway stats. Easy to have something that looks like junk but is actually a very powerful base. And the only wat to pick out those cases involves playing with a damn spreadsheet siting next to you. |

" Some fossils look like crap, or about the same level as other ones when in reality they are worth a fucking fortune. You picked an edge case, good for you. There's plenty of fossil outcomes that you have no way of predicting from the fossil description and you'll only learn about in a database. Last edited by Asmosis#7365 on Apr 1, 2019, 4:07:14 AM

" 100% sure people have probably venodred 10ex + rare items because they didnt know how to price check it which is unfortunate. Wlecome to PoE. nothing new. " Because what? Every game needs to be dumbed down for lazy brainless players? Have you seen Warframe? You spend HOURS and HOURS looking on guides/wiki to understand shit in that game and it is getting more and more popular. Its clear like day and night that people actually enjoy those "hard to understand games" looking at how popular Warframe and PoE got. Last edited by Aynix#7757 on Apr 1, 2019, 4:32:36 AM

Where do I even compare things lol? Its a statement that there are other games that also require you to "search for knowledge" and they are getting more and more popular.

" You've simply forgotten that the game has ALWAYS required youtube videos in order to learn to play it. And if YOU didn't watch them personally, then you got advice from someone who did. Edit: Also the PoE Warframe comparison is actually a great one that I never thought of before. They are actually extremely similiar to one another. Instead of gems they have augments. They are also becoming a sort of 'Legacy League+' as well which gives their similiarly defined 'endgame' multiple routes for different styles of players to take just like PoE Great minds think alike I suppose Last edited by BearCares#6660 on Apr 1, 2019, 4:54:24 AM

" " That's where, duh? That's a comparison to the fractured item situation. And seriously, anyone who's played the game for more than a couple hundred hours can easily identify a 10ex rare item because "good mods are good". Meanwhile, no one has a lookup table in their head for every single good synthesized mod except streamers playing the game 10 hours per day. |

I'm probably one of those. I just pick fractured items because of 1k challenge. I don't have time or patience to watch 653474585468 youtube videos, use 2423356 3rd party programs. I don't want to play rocket science, I want to slay monsters, get loot and improve. This is still an ARPG right?

^^ theres 1x 10 min video, and optionally you could watch some streamer 30 min vids for "flavor" and context. There's one webpage (not website, literally just one page) you need to look at. That's not much.
"T1 mods are probably good" is about all you need to know when looking at fractured items. Yes, sometimes you can get away with 1 T2 and 2 T1, but that doesnt mean you should keep T2 junk. Worry about that when you have the T1's and buy the T2 for 1 alch. Last edited by Asmosis#7365 on Apr 1, 2019, 8:41:14 AM
