Im just hoping i dont get another wall...for the 3rd time in a row :p

*sigh* Are we ever going to get some decent variety of wizard armor sets in this game? Considering how magic is one of the three main playstyles of ARPGs (the others being melee and archers), it's disappointing how even 6 years later the game still has a paucity of wizard robes or other magical outfits. Just a handful of pieces like the Arcane armor set and that's it.

Meanwhile, we have the irony of melee still being the weakest way to play the game while somehow having the largest selection of appropriate armor sets. So what gives? Is your entire art team filled with D2 Barbarian fans or something? Where's the love for us Sorc/Necro/Elemental Druid players?

...what? Yes! Because this seems to be the first box that doesn't really contain anything I'm interested in enough to want it before the regular sale!

You had plenty of them already... Both support packs from Abyss League had something for "Necro", Stygian Armor as well. Schoolar pack, both support packs from Betrayal, Celestial Armor, Warlock Armor, Polar Armor, Raven Armor, Bear Armor.
There are plenty of MTX if you are looking for "Sorc/Necro/Druid cosplay"

GGG really should give us loyal PoE fans that toil ceaselessly/endlessly on the PoE wiki some kind of a mtx bonus. Without our efforts GGG would have to have their own in-house documentation team to do that and thus by saving them that expense we really should get some kind of spiff for our dedication to the cause.

Its like any gacha. The gf and i chased a certain card in a mobile game we play. Many..many draws later she popped. I gave zero shits about the next time and got the two top rares almost straight off.

Another example. My first ever mtg trade was my rare for my best friends common. My deck didnt need the rare. It needed that common. Those were the best days of my mtg addiction!

That sounds like the right approach, Charan. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be blessed with enough ignorance to stand against the math of a hopeless optimist.

My comments might sound savage, coming from me, your friendly neighbourhood GGG fanboy, but I'm dead serious. These boxes are my Achilles' heel. I love their contents and hate their existence.

I wish GGG would just sell the work of these wonderful artists right out the gate. I'd happily pay full price, which is already generous, but by the time I've gambled my full set, I'm down triple/quadruple the store price and they know it.

I do too, I wasn't born yesterday and I'll take responsibilty for my spendings, but I'll never get behind what these boxes represent. Despite getting what I wanted in the end, I'm left with a rotten, self-loathing feeling, every time.

If I ever suddenly stop posting here, it means my girlfriend found out about my box spendings and I'll have faked my death, moved to a remote location in the mountains of south-east Asia, going through life as a goat.

But... but how? I tricked him into drinking that vile brew I substituted for the "elixir of life" in order to make him ALL dead (not just MOSTLY dead) out on the docks so he should be gone permanently. But of course this is Wraeclast where the dead come back to haunt/kill us on a daily basis.  :)

Have you counted how many armor sets there are on the store?! Plus most of your examples are from supporter packs, not sold in store. If we include those, that's 4 for necro, 5 for sorc (including the Arcane set) and 3 for Druid. However, 2 of those for Druid center on the shapeshifting archetype, not the caster one. Out of the remaining 10, 5 are only from limited time supporter packs. So that leaves just 5 magic themed armor sets permanently in the store. Have you counted how many thicc heavy armor sets are in store?

Also, most importantly, virtually none of these pieces center on robes! Fancy jackets and armored cloaks are certainly stylish, but robes are heavily underrepresented on the mtx lineup, even among supporter packs.

IMO the existance of this box makes it very clear to me that Fairgraves will appear at some point in the Syndicate as a boss of some kind. His story just fits somehow.
