you add (summon carrion golem gem) in this build?

No, since it does not work with other golems

Hey, I would like to use either this build, or your SRS Necromancer as my league starter, and take it all the way to the end. Which of the two builds do you think I would be able to push the highest level. I've been able to reach level 95 on several characters, but usually get one-shot more than I can get XP to go to 96+. I'd like to get to 96 or 97 in this league.

Thanks for the great build guides and videos! you rock.
I apologize if this is in the new PoB, but I cannot pull it up at this time. How well does it synergize with Infernal Legion? Being elemental damage immune would give them full advantage of the aura with no downside. I assume only 1 aura would be in effect at a time though per minion.

I would say SRS will take you further as they delive more end-game damage.
Golems kinda CAP at some point and are really mediocre at delve

What about LIFE BASED Golem build?

IMO a life based variant is very viable.

I'm playing a lvl 98 Elementalist using the Blood Magic, Mortal Convivtion and Elemental Equilibrium keystones and 10 Jewel Sockets.

I'm at 11 Golems, 8.2k HP, 2k life/sec regenerated, 63% physical damage reduction (before Basalt flask and Fortify), along with Enfeeble, Phase Run, Immortal Call, Blind, Decoy Totam, Freeze/Chill;/Shock immunity this make for a darn tanky character.

I chose Blood Magic because I'm no fan of mana management, never was, and the latest onslaught on mana sustain seems to prove me right. But Zealotry is all I need really, if you really want Aspect of the Avian or another aura, well, then ny all means go without BM and a bit less life. Happy mana pot popping, I say. But damage was never an issue with this build and it's now more than ever.

The revamped 3.8 Ascendancy brought Shock back to its former glory (almost), grants us 550% increased Golem Buffs (which can only be described as batsh*t crazy!), makes ALL our golems immune to elemental damage, we have a 370% chance to avoid elemental Ailments and we get another Golem in tree with another 70% Golem Buff increase (total 620%, even moar if you aim for a helmet enchant). Leap Slamming even with our shabby hammers is insanely fast thanks to 80% increased attack speed granted by the Lightning Golem... I know all the hype about the Necromancer, but 3.8 also is Golementalist at its very best. Enjoy!
Hello, I have a small question :D

I am a player who starts the adventure and I wonder if build will be suitable for someone who learns the game. Thanks for the advice and any help! :D
Suitable for newcomers? Most certainly. Affordable? Not so much as a lot Hinges an o big pile of rather expensibe Primordial Jewels.

However, the new Feeding Frenzy support gem will grant your golems the aggressivity ther would otherwise need from Primordial Might. So you will have 6 aggressive golems by the time you completed the second Labyrinth, this surely will get you going. Farm some Currency then for a Primordial Chain Amulet and you will be on 9 golems pretty soon.

Golem jewels are usually super expensive at the start of the league.

That they are... but it's now a lot easier to get going without that huge investment.

By the time you get into maps you should have enough currency for a 6-link body armour (snipe/farm some Emperor of Purity), two Clayshapers and Primordial Chain. At this stage you have completed the 2nd Labyrinth and summon 9 Golems (since you don't have a "Harmony stack" yet they can be all Flame Golems). The lack of "Golem aggro" can now be remedied with Feeding Frenzy Support.

This should easily carry you into mid-tier maps where you can farm currency for a bunch of Primordial Jewels.

You see, things are not looking all that bleak anymore, the Golementalist is indeed a formidable "league starter". ;)

@tomay

Does this work for every kind of golemancer(ice, fire and so on)?
If so, I'll let my zombiemancer at act 2 and start a new one as golemancer...
