Primordial Might has the stats:

-(25-30)% increased Damage if you Summoned a Golem in the past 8 seconds

-Golems Summoned in the past 8 seconds deal (35-45)% increased Damage

Are we using this in any way? Does convocation proc it?

Might is mostly for agressive golems

I got my first uber elder with this build.

It was hectic, took five portals, and I may have cried at one point, hard to say.

But I got it done, and the fight was super cool. Cheers!

Despite the anima stone I now have, I still use the primordial chain amulet. It's 10 golems instead of 7 then, but obviously at the cost of damage reduction. The amulet gets worse and worse, the more base golems you have without it, since it only adds a fixed about of damage (3 golems), but applies its damage reduction to any amount of golems you own ... so if you only have 1 golem, the amulet is perfect. If you'd have 50000 golems, the amulet would be a very bad idea. But at 7 golems, where only 4 do real damage (the fire golems), or having 7, that do 65% of full damage, it still looks mathematically okay ... and you get a greater number of golems to deal with enemy surprises and even better, MUCH faster golems, much betetr able to keep up with you and threat reaction. My survivability is far better that way. But there's another cost, that I have a problem with atm ... I can't use the amulet for STR and DEX ... and I need more of both, since atm, the only way I have enough STR for the clayshapers is by using my +100 str gauntlet.... so, there's that.
Thanks for sharing OP! I just took down uber elder, first time ever (lootless, sadface...). On top of that, I did my first deathless uber Atziri and many deathless Shaper runs. All that done with really medicore gear:

Indeed, why isn't there?

IMO -50% Fire Resistance through Equilibrium is far more efficient vs Bosses than Curses.

Here is is something else to ponder: If you're using Anger (or have an Abyssal jewel with "Minions deal additional Fire Damage") you can link Combustion with your Lightning/Ice Golem, any hit from these will ignite enemies and reduce their Fire Resistance by another 19% (20% if Combustion lvl 21).

Now that's a total of -70% Fire Resistance, much more than you can possibly achieve with two curses against map bosses.

With Beacon of Ruin we can easily apply 20% Shock using Arc or Spark or OoS. In addition the EE/Shock trigger spell can be linked with Blind (as a defensive bonus) or Culling Strike.

And as for the Flame Golem gem setup, I know Controlled Destruction yields a higher damage output but Fire Penetration isn't that far off (7% less) and requiring a red socket gives us some flexibility. FP can be swapped for Empower 4 which results in a LOT more golem life, handy vs hard hitting phys bosses (such as The Minotaur) or Item Quantity (if you're playing in Standard)... anyway, even t15 map bosses are a breeze with only 5 links, I only remove the quant gem for tougher jobs like Guardians, Shaper, Elder.

My two cents...

P.S. I'm playing a life-based build (since I happen to have a +1 Belly) with Blood Magic, running six Flame Golems (with LMP), a Stone Golem and an Animated Guardian.
