Loooool but on a serious note,
Why are these players NOT excluded from this race??? I mean, as if ANY1 has a real chance again streamers?? WHy not just give them the item and let the rest race for it? THis was/is the only reason i never race.....

Streamers, unfortunatly, are like cancer 2 this game, they RUIN everything because GGG only looks at them :(

I'd said the saddest thing on this game is theese streamer that play 16h+ a day and will end with many health problems and no job just for a game...

I know poe is awesome and all but it is indeed on the other hand too addictive.

I know many players have gamble/addiction problems and GGG need to do something for theeses dudes. I have a similar problem but I can limit my play time even if it's hard sometimes.

But some people can't do that and plays endlessly. You GGG need to put a stop on this or someone will eventually die by exhaustion.
Why woukd any1 be jealous on a guy who sits 24 hours straight to win a game?

I enjoy tgis game and races very much...but would never want to do what havocs accomplishes....they look lime zombies when i watch those top guys streams...

Imo their parents should seriously ask what their doing...

This is my thinking, I don't know why you guys are so salty they put the time in so they win but have you asked if you really want to put the time in? I sure don't.

When they put in the 1hr races they are much more my pace and i can compete fairly well, the same people win though because they have the most time and are the most practiced but you can usually get a good shot at it if you pick a bad or hipster class.
Now try again to add another +50% on exp from 95 to 100 ggg x)
Gives streamers & friends queue priority and leaves supporters who spent hundreds $ packs in the 100k queue.

GGG: Don't you guys follow streamers?

Just make weekly races of 2-3 hours with some objectivesr me i dont give give a crap about that, i play like 1-2 hours per day, and always play leagues, never touch races, but for the ones that want......
I see the point that is trying to be made here, although I'm not sure what could be done about it. It's like if we had a challenge to see who could walk 1000 miles the fastest but one group can only spend 4-8 hours a day walking, while others (in the same race) can spend 16 hours a day walking. I wonder who will hit the 1000 miles first.

I'm not complaining (for the record), I just see why others might.
Congratz to Havoc616. Most of the people that complain wouldnt have been able to achieve it even if they had the same amount of time. He is good, thats it.
I just wonder what it feels like for him to step outside after this madness. Must feel like alien on a different planet. Eitherway good job.
You have to remember to chase and catch your dreams, because if you don't, your imagination will live in empty spaces, and that's nowhere land.

So some guys complain that Havoc played several 24h sessions with maximum efficiency to earn a couple of thousands exalts? While those people spend hundreds of hours more farming and grinding maps for the same amount of currency?

Now tell me what´s more efficient. Some push, others crawl.
I crawl. But don´t complain about pushers.

There is actually some merit to what this person is saying.

Sports in real life do have tiers of competition. Professional, amateur, etc. It is fair to want something like that in a game. But of course this isn't something GGG can even vaguely enforce with a free to play game where so-called professional racers can just make a smurf account and obliterate the equally so-called amateurs.

So instead of having races of varying difficulty aimed at different levels of expertise/experience/fitness/etc, we just have one race for all, much like a fun run marathon where most people do it just for shits and giggles and the uppermost competitors are virtually running a different race.

Which is fine as long as you're okay being either a fun runner, or a serious competitor willing to treat what is a hobby to most people like a job.

And that's PoE's playerbase in a nutshell.

That's not a bad analogy. But I also don't want them to extend the race track by another 100 miles because some guy has the ability to not have a job and put in an extra 15 miles a night. Like I get it, they got the time, they are wealthy already, or w/e, but just feels like they are punishing the wrong people.

Except they have a job, playing poe.
Yeah you defined everything perfectly, very well thought out comment and argument, I am more commenting the person quoting you, he said that they don't have a job.
