Old tesla is dead dead. If you want similar playstyle, a CoC variant would work. I done both Ball Lightning and Shock Nova in previous leagues.

With 3.23, I there's a few new skill that may have potential. Discharge and Crack lance comes to mind. Would have to test it to see how it holds up.
