Is this bannable?

I'm thinking of writing a macro where it auto selects the wisdom scroll and use them on items. With one click, all the items in a stash will be identified in no time. Is this considered a bannable offense?

A macro where u have to use 1 input to get multiple things done? I think this will be a good idea...... |

Well if one input is only allowed to perform an action, I can just set up a macro where "one click id one slot". Basically, the first time i click the button, it auto id the item on the first slot in the stash. Second time i click it, it id whatever is on the second slot. So as long as i keep pressing, the id action will keep on going and soon have the whole stash ided. With this, i'm still performing one action per click, but still saves PLENTY of time and clicking.

Pretty much. If you can't even describe it without using the word "auto", it's not allowed.

GGG will use account banning as a scare tactic to stop you from using any type of macro, period. They will always do this (same thinking as zero tolerance in schools) then they don't have to make any judgement calls on things like: I have a Logitech G510 gaming keyboard and I can program the back-lighting so that the PoE keys are color coded by group for easier pressing of the correct key in low light. Or: I created a macro that displays the monsters left on a zone/map with one press of a function key. Etc, etc, etc. Since GGG hasn't seen fit to code us some simple PoE QoL (like monsters left, time played, etc.) it means we should be allowed to be able to use the extra function keys without worrying about being banned, just as long as it isn't a macro that chains commands together (like cursing and then attacking with a single key press).

Generally as a rule of thumb you cannot do anything in this game that puts more than 1 action into a keybind and makes it an auto run action, even if it is just IDing things in your stash.
