IS IT OK TO START ABYSS LEAGUE TODAY?

depends on how long you take to realize a character, 2 weeks is enough for me to get a reasonable character to endgame and most likely rip as i was being hasty so it'd be fine for me.

If your a slower paced player your probably just gonna do some early maps and call it a day though in which case i'd wait for the next full league so you have more players to trade/associate with.

Then speed that shit up!
Learn racing!
And Boom next league your are in Endgame Day1-2!

My point is: it is never to late to play and have fun.
In your Situation you can practice Racing aswell :D

There's really no reason to not start in Abyss right now. As a new player, Abyss will simply be a standard with more features for 2 weeks and then you'll be in standard anyways. At least this way you can experience the abyss features before they change.

It is never too late for any PoE gameplay man, go for it ! It's you that will play not the toxic meta exalt currency hunters.

With a little bit of luck ( Lich spawns etc ) you can experince the whole Abyss thing in less than 7 days , so definitely not too late .

I found this in SSF Abyss League. I was like, "WHOA!" -- especially because I had seen it drop but left it on the ground to clear the map; circuited around the map (Factory), arriving back at the Unique on the ground (not knowing it was Poet's Pen)... picked it up, saw the art. Then woot.

I just recently started a new character to try it... In my opinion, ~10 days is plenty of time to get to maps, fully Ascend, etc.

So the TL;DR answer to your question: You've got enough time if you know what you're doing. :)
