Can we get more motivation for 40/40?

Pass 36+ Is just a large time sink that's not skill based at all even with that being said just more motivation for people to strive for it which is good for the game more people playing = Good. Most don't pass 36 because nobody really cares much about the totem do you know why I do it? I have nothing else better to do that's it really.

you could buy old ones too. a lot of those old ones were garbage ones that you pretty much had to buy, like id all of the new uniques or all t1 uniques. lol.

at least there are some 'challenges' that are meaningful and involve actual gameplay nowadays (such as the map-specific conditional ones)

the issue is really if they veer to one side or the other with challenges they will probably piss off a significant portion of players. if players felt like they HAD to do the challenges they will focus on them more and inevitably whine about grinding/rng ones. and if theyre too easy then the 'reward' cant be good enough and you have even less motivation and more of a checklist

its a lose lose situation imo.

Yepp a reward for 40/40 is a good thing. Bragging is one thing but something more substancial then the number 40 in chat is a good incentive.

The question is what....

* Alt art skin (affects standard)
* A chase item (no legacy items please)
* Unique hidout item (not the totem)
* Forum title/frame (meh)
* A unique 40/40 MTX (requires 40 in the currect league to equip)

Im fine with any of those. But the MTX might be the way to go that doesn't effect the economy in any way.

PS. same goes for level100 chars.. should be something for that.

actually thats something that GGG openly tries to avoid. a lot of people will consider lvl 100 something that can and SHOULD realistically achieve, which isnt what GGG wants people to think. hence why all achievement and challenge awards in the last couple years never include lvl 100 or 40/40

alternate art was wasted on the small group of racers who would win them all the time. and it would be wasted on the few hundred who can do 40/40 cause they can work the economy and so are able to buy their challenges.

People would simply pay for most of the challenges as it is right now, and league after league is the same.

What you're really asking for is a 4th reward, at 40. That would definitely encourage more to get 40 imo. But if you think the buying of challenges is bad now, don't you think it would be worse? In any event would not get better.

It's not hard to prevent buying skill challenges just

~ SET Finish Uber Atziri ALONE.
~ SET Finish SHAPER ALONE.
~ SET Do not get hit any of Shapers Vortex orbs ALONE

It's not exactly hard to lock out challenges like this.

See buying challenges is acceptable to a ''degree'' the RNG shit nobody likes those shit I bought 27 liches I'm not ashamed of that lol

Like I don't understand why some of you think 40/40 is enough to brag about that's dumb. Sure I've done it every league but they were not hard all it was just a giant time sink not to mention as I've stated bunch of haters going to be like OH LOLOL SHE BOUGHT THOSE CHALLENGES and you're like well you're a giant walrus go roll around yeahhhh.

Yeah, they could set some of those. No problem with it. BUT you KNOW people would complain! I honestly don't think they are going to do that anyway.

Yeah, I agree with you that the old challenges were so hard they were bragworthy.
