Lag spikes (With WinMTR)

I've been having lag spikes for about two weeks. They stopped a few days ago and everything went great, but suddenly today they started again. Other games work great, streaming services, everything. I've got a 300MB internet connection. I hope the WinMTR can make something clear, because my ISP told me everything was okay.

Second WinMTR - while I was having many lag spikes (1000+ sent packets): https://pastebin.com/84vJecjM

Second hop shows lag spikes of 800+ which continues through to the server, depending on the specific set up of your connection the second hop is either in the home or out in the street(the distribution box that supplies the whole street)

Turn off the router, leave it for a few minutes and try it again (also run the test) if it continues post the results so we can see if the problem persists where it starts or if that cleared up but shows a problem further down the line

Thanks for your reply! I've done that. It was good for the first half of the map, the second one (and hydra boss) was a bit laggy. Not as much as before, but still.

I have a wireless connection because I can't wire it, but I played without any problem for months, so I don't think that's the issue. If the WinMTR shows it's still a problem on my part, I'll contact my ISP with the specifics this time :)

Thanks again.

EDIT: Another map with higher latency, even died to it. Abnormal again on WinMTR (https://pastebin.com/KhA62rKS).

Bump?
I too started having lag spikes recently. My ISP is Comcast, whom I hate of course, but this seems to happen mostly during the day. I have had an extended weekend and the morning to early afternoon hours seem to be garbage with constant lag spikes and disconnects.

Here is my WinMTR

Hop one, lag spikes over 150 ms. (a. power cycle the router, b. if you are wireless use a wired connection if you can)

Hop 2, 10% packet loss which continues all the way to the server and latency jumps up a big again (more than it should 100ms for something that is within a mile of you)

Hop 6, the latency spikes jump up gain over 700ms not sure if thats in GGG's area or your ISP's becuase it is listed as unreachable, you could try the test again with pingplotter which seems to have a better time listing all the hops properly.

I'm actually wired. I have power cycled the router. This is now happening at night as well. I just installed pingplotter and running it. I have a feeling that the brand new router comcast provided us has already shit the bed. Idk, I don't have a lot of faith in comcast anymore since I have had nothing but issues with them. Here are the results of pingplotter. The start of that test was really bad as you can see with all the red in the latency graph at the bottom.

I'm having the same exact issues, a sudden pause for a few secs, then a huge speed up afterwards then back to normal till the next spike. It's really damn annoying and makes the game frustrating to play and has caused me deaths numerous times.

Are you on comcast as well? Have you run WinMTR or pingplotter yet? Over a week now I have been getting random packet loss. I can't stand it. I loathe having to call Comcast to come out because most techs do the bare minimum when it comes to troubleshooting.
Welcome to the club... I'm wondering when I will see "CONSTANT DISCONNECT ISSUES AND TERRIBLE LAG SPIKES HAVE BEEN FIXED" as MoTD instead of new shiny microtransactions...
