@GGG Australia Lag (packet loss issues) - Pls Fix
" Hi Fitzy, Thanks so much for your prompt response. If I hadn't had this exact issue prior I would normally understand it is probably an ISP issue. To give you some context this has happened before and when working with my ISP it shows no packet drop in any other instance. No other games or servers at all. It is quite literally POE only. The last time this happened, it was a fix implemented by GGG and they posted back in the forums to confirm they were aware and were working on it. Once they confirmed they had "Fixed their end", it was instantly fixed for all iinet users. From the ISP's point there is nothing wrong and as GGG provided the resolution last time, I ask that this be looked at more closely. I'm also having this problem through iinet Brisbane and also had problems a couple of leagues ago too when there was a thread about it then.
Great game expansion but it feels like there's always one performance issue or another spoiling things. I'm getting a stable 36 ping in my first person shooters its only poe that's all over the place. Hardcore and constant lag don't mix very well. |

Can add one more person having this issue, game is damn near unplayable most of the time. Ping is very unstable, constantly jumping from my normal 50, up into the hundreds, then back to 50. All other games are stable and normal ping, even other gateways have stable ping just higher obviously.

" It has been a previous issue from GGG with iinet customers and they needed to fix last time. It doesnt matter where is Australia you are it seems (people from all states). Just want labs without spiking :( |

I would also note I'm having spikes aswell, however I am with Internode who is owned by iinet. I also suffered the exact same issue last time this was happening.

I am also experiencing these lag issues (ADSL2+ with Internode in Moonee Ponds, Victoria). Since 3.1 there have been a few instances of it, but tonight has been completely unplayable.
Looking elsewhere on the web, it may be an issue with iiNet/Internode routing at the moment, apparently a routing cable of theirs got damaged. But that's just speculation looking at whirlpool.net forums. Same problem here. I don't use MYR but my traceroute program says it's jumping from Adelaide to SEATTLE, USA then to Melbourne. Not sure if it's either IINET or something GGG can fix. It is the same problem as a few leagues ago tho, which as someone already said GGG managed to fix. Thanks.
