Cremation projectiles
For the Cremation skill:
1. I know that Concentrated Effect can be linked with Cremation and I assume that it and other sources of Area Damage work on the corpse explosion part. Do the projectiles deal Area Damage too? 2. Do the projectiles pierce targets? If not, do you think they would benefit from some added pierce ability? Last bumped on Mar 22, 2018, 7:22:15 AM

1. the explosion dealt % damage of corspe life and cant be modify
2. the proj. is an auto aim proj. that try to focus to the next enemy. the proj. explode by a hit of an enemy, no pierce possible, only the explosion dealt damage. 3. the explosion is aoe, fire spell and can modify by this. |

" Its only unaffected by modifiers to Spell Damage. Generic, Area, Fire, Elemental still apply. |

" So do the projectiles deal Area Damage? If they do, then wouldn't Concentrated Effect be very good? I noticed that it does change the tooltip average damage value, but the tooltip is usually hard to trust. Spell, Projectile, Fire and Elemental all seem to work great on the projectiles. My real questions are about Area Damage and Pierce. If the projectiles were capable of piercing, I would expect them to behave similar to mini versions of the Fireball skill when that is used with pierce. |

" Sounds like a personal problem to me. The Projectiles are ground-targeting AoEs; the only thing you could Pierce is the ground, which doesn't get you anywhere. |

" The corpse explosion's base damage is a percentage of the exploded corpse's life. It absolutely can be modified; it's simply secondary damage (i.e. not attack or spell damage), so it's a bit harder to modify than other stuff. AoE Damage, Fire damage, Elemental damage, Totem damage (if the skill is cast by a totem), Trap damage (if the skill is cast by a trap), and raw Damage should all apply to the body boom. Conc. Effect would constrict the corpse explosion radius but grant it greater damage, and if I understand Cremation properly it would restrict the radius in which Cremation could fling projectiles. You get decreased coverage but increased damage, which is all well and good if you can tolerate decreased coverage. Stupid friggin' Conc.... But yeah. The 'projectiles' Cremation fires don't target anything, it's like Firestorm in that regard. Pierce won't work. Increasing projectile count (Dying Sun, GMP) would work, though. She/Her

I believe damage bonus from pierce still applies to cremation

" If you ignore the corpse explosion portion, once the little volcano is up and spewing projectiles, does that part of the skill benefit from the more damage multiplier of concentrated effect? I am using this as a single target skill, so the reduced radius is not an issue if I were to use Concentrated Effect. What about Point Blank? If I am dropping this at the foot of a boss, wouldn't that potentially be very strong? |

" The problem with this is that Cremation doesn't target enemies with its projectiles. It specifically targets the ground, distributing projectiles in a semi-randomized pattern sweeping around itself. I believe the Cremation projectiles deal area damage a'la Fireball, if in a smaller area than Fireball, and so would benefit from Concentrated Effect's damage modifier (and also suffer its infuriating area penalty). The skill wouldn't make much sense otherwise. Conc. Effect would decrease every area radius the skill has - its corpse explosion radius, the radius it distributes projectiles over, and the radius of those projectiles' blasts. Whether Conc. Effect alone does so enough to make it a viable Boss Enema Skill when shoved up rectums She/Her Last edited by 1453R#7804 on Dec 13, 2017, 3:11:40 PM
