If you drop a mirror, but want to keep playing ssf, you:
Create a mule ssf character.
Give him the mirror.
Transfer him to non-ssf and become rich!
That's it. Now you can keep your hard earned SSF progress, and be a rich non-ssf player at the same time (if you ever want to bother with non-ssf).
Alternatively, you can:
Keep the mirror in SSF.
For any reason whatsoever, link it in your forum posts (it will show that is in fact a SSF mirror).
Great for forum PVP and boosting your massive virtual ego.

In SSF you could vendor it for the divine, 2 exalts, and 5 regal orbs.
Crafting a ring or jewel and mirroring it is another option.
