Client crashes while using Scorching Ray

2 crashes today aiming SR against a single target without swiping the beam. 1x boss in 'Springs' map. 1x some exile in 'Port' map. Was far away from any obstacles in both cases.

I can reproduce the bug/behavior in that thread though. So I do not know if it is the same bug or another bug.
I am aware of the bug described in this thread. So I adjusted my gameplay and often just directly target a single opponent with SR. I also did this in both crash cases today.

Many client crashes in Harbinger league for me. Not sure if most/all happened with SR or not. I had very few crashes before Harbinger.

At least the first two crashes described here do not fit with the "used next to a wall" part. There was no wall next to me at the time. I use lockstep and have low ping so desync is also very unlikely.

Edit: I disabled multithreading and have had no issues (neither those weird lag spikes nor crashes) so far. But only did a few maps so cant tell reliably yet. I tried disabling multithreading earlier in league and it did not help but it may have been some other (potentially fixed now) problem then.
