" I've seen plenty of times where hops within networks are "limited" and not shown. Doesn't necessarily point to a problem (however, it could be a problem depending on the situation). Try tracing around to a couple of other places and see if you have similar results. The only thing that I see abnormal about that trace is the 718ms time for hop 10. In other situations where I get hidden hops, they generally establish back at reasonable hop times. edit 1: Here is my relevant trace to the same place as you. I see my hop 12 is your missing hop.

Hop 10 is the same when pinging the PoE server aparently, ran 12 tracerts so far and they are all from 199-999ms.

Every single trace I run is being routed through that address, is why I wondered.
