This. Unless it's an NPC, most cosplays are not going to be recognized by the larger internet community. Some of the most iconic pieces of gear like Shavronne's Wrappings, Kaom's Heart, Hyrri's Ire, and Atziri's Splendour worn by an exile may be able to attract attention. Outside of that, people will just walk up to you and go "Wow I really like your costume! What anime are you from?"
Bring back race seasons.
Cosplaying an angry mod with a banhammer would be sweet right about now.
