not really, sure how to increase survivability beyond what I have, any advice?

I was able to kill the red elder and Phoenix so far, but they were very scary and not fun fights -- Phoenix map had zero threatening mods on it... ended up having to use almost all my portals on the red elder fight to get through it. Didn't have enough dps to save shaper during it either, so I had to fight him the rest of his 25% hp.

Also, I know im not running the surge swap. I'm trying to level up some empower gems at the moment, so the swap is somewhat of a burden to put in. My jewels are also not completely optimized either.


You're at lvl 84 with 4.8k life. You dont even use 5 power charges, your gems are at lvl 18-19, you dont use Arcane Surge buff, you're doing 40% of this build DPS and so on... Basically you have like half of the build right now and you're suprised that it cannot do deathless the worst content game has to offer? Im even suprised that this build at this stage was able to even do it after all. Like Phoenix/Guardian before all the portals run out... anyway...

This build can do end-game stuff (I mean real end-game) with lvl 90+ and lvl 20 gems. You need more lvls. Both on your character and gems.

This will be not yet maxed build. But it will make for a solid foundation for min/maxing jewels and gear. And it should do end-game content without much of an issues.


I thought perhaps it'd have more hp/armor. I know there are other builds that cost less and can do the same things this build can do in terms of content(even at my current level). I knew that there was a lot of stuff I was missing and was concerned because when I plugged in the foundation PoB told me it wasnt too drastically different than what I currently have.

I'm not saying the build is bad or anything. I do really like it, but just trying to voice my current overall concern about it to see if we could collectively try to increase defenses optimally for end game.

The question is: how comfortable can they do it. Give this build a go, at least to a certain threshold that I pointed you out. Then try to compare. Currently you're making your points from undeveloped build's point of view. As any Mjolner before this one, build gets good (for real end-game) at around lvl 90. And scales very good after lvl 90. All because you must meet stats requirements in the first place and after that u add up to your hp pool and your dps. It doesnt need increased defenses vs end-game after that point.

33 sec kill time with 12.5 mil hp boss = 378k real, sustainable Shaper DPS.

I know there are dedicated builds that do some things better. But there are very few (within this price point) that can do it all on the same, comfortable lvl.

I want to craft a increased recovery cool down recovery shaper belt, what % should i aim for to get 5 discharge a second? Is 15% too low?

Ya when you craft the belt you only need it to roll 16 or higher, 16 can be divined to 20 with an orb, the hard part is isolating another good tier 1 roll such as strength or life. Check poe.affix site so you can see what the tier values are before you craft, b/c you only need to hit the tier, then you can divine orb it later on to make the rolls perfect.

(you will need an shaped belt i84 or higher though for the 16-20 roll)

what a nice build, i’m lvl72 now, what pantheon should i use?
everyone typically just goes Lunaris/Ralakesh for mapping and then occasionally swaps others in for situational mods or bosses

Blade Vortex generates additional power charges per cast and it is yet another chance for Inyas to grant you full power charges each time the cwdt triggers.

Hello, it's been a long time I played a mjolner build and yours is really fun/good

I'm still leveling (76 atm), and have been a bit ballzy : tried ele reflect map and to face tank atziri... was a wrong idea ^^

I havn't seen in your post something about "cant do ele reflect", is it a miss or I m just too low lvl to do it?


another questions : at what moment can we safely use righteous fire? what do you think of the cyclopean coil belt?
