2.6.0 Area of Effect Changes

Let 2.6 mark the final nail in the coffin for melee.

There is now literally no reason to go with a melee build when projectiles and spells are so much better.

Projectiles were already better than AoE skills for clearing before the 2.6.0 patch. The changes simply widened the gap.


I'm sure you guys will monitor the game to see how much what kind of skills get used at the top few thousands of the ladders and rebalance accordingly for 3.0.

Sometimes I really wonder why you guys push out half-assed patches instead of scheduling them for a later date. You could've easily kept that for 3.0 and asses some items and most gems (or at least try to do a mediocre job).
Now even more stuff is broken. Not even IKEA can keep up with that.

- Runes of Magic - ghost towns. dead game.
- World of Warcraft - massive fail.
- AION - epic fail.
- TERA - epic fail.
- ArcheAge - fail.
- Lineage 2 - epic fail.
